A Major Case Of Procrastination

Christmas.......it's one my favorite times of year. All the lovely decorations: the tree, the snowflakes, the manger scene, a few snowmen, some jingle bells, and of course.......the lights.

The tradition in our house is to put up all the decorations on Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and then to take them all down on New Years Day.

Well, I, Allison Gerwitz, am here to proclaim that the Christmas lights in my bedroom were finally taken down this morning. That's right....March 4th. I was so sick of seeing them that I finally worked up enough motivation to spend 5 minutes taking them down.

It's not that I left them up because I use them constantly and hate to see them go; that, at least, would be a good excuse. But, I haven't plugged them in at least since the last day of December. No, my wonderful excuse is simply this:

I'm a PROCRASTINATOR.

Not really something to be proud of, but thankfully, in this case my laziness caused no harm!

this made me laugh sooo hard.... I can't believe you just took them down. The dumb thing is, these little projects we procrastinate on for so long usually do only take us 5 minutes!
